Harry Aoki's First Friday Forum Feb 4, 2004

Harry Aoki will host First Friday Forum at Nikkei Heritage Centre Feb 4th.

7:30pm (upstairs)

National Nikkei Heritage Centre Society(604) 777-7000
6688 Southoaks Cres
Burnaby, BC

This event is held the first Friday of each month.  Harry hosts a lively and interesting musical evening with different musical guests and themes each month.  He interweaves stories and knowledge about the songs, instruments, musical migration and evolution into a dialogue between musicians and audience.

This morning Harry invited me to bring my accordion.  This will be great as I didn't even get a chance to open my accordion case at January 30th's Gung Haggis Fat Choy dinner.

An e-mail from Shelagh Rogers to share with everybody!

Todd!

It was memorable…
And you made it so!

Thank
you for the wonderful evening Sunday. I really enjoyed it. What a great
mix of cultures…all equalling one crazy bunch of Canadians. It made
me feel proud.  I had a blast. Had great fun at our table…just
love Tom Chin…and it was great to search out the notables.

Bravo to you, my friend.
Hopefully you have had some rest,
Shelagh
